This roundtable will be an opportunity to have open and honest conversations across generational lines, as well as for building cross-cultural relationships with pastors and leaders from the nations and with non-immigrant churches around the city

Join us for an immigrant-prepared dinner and time of fellowship! There will be an opportunity to hear the vision of Diaspora Network, as well testimonies from diaspora leaders and ways you can partner in what God is doing through the immigrant community in the city.

The Nations Pray
Many of us have been blessed by mission trips and connections with the global church there, and now the Nations are coming — and are now here — in the Greater Austin area. The global majority Church is bringing the renewing gifts of passionate prayer and fasting to our city.
God is also bringing Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu unreached people groups. Join us for our second annual night of prayer and intercession with and for the nations in Austin. Registration and more details to follow!

2025 Diaspora National Conference (Houston)
Our fourth annual conference’s focus will be around immigrant and multiethnic church planting and multiplication.
We seek to join God in what He is already doing: by coming around and supporting diaspora church multiplication leaders and movements, learning from them, and developing unique training and multiplication incubators for these demographics.

Next Gen Global Worship Night
We believe this emerging generation are the multiethnic bridge building leaders the future church in North America desperately needs.
Join us for a night of fellowship and worship with the Next Generation! You’ll have the opportunity to connect with the Next Gen Cohort, and hear more about how you can become part of what the Lord is doing among the emerging 1.5 and 2nd gen immigrant youth and young adults.

Join us for third public Zoom session with the Next Gen Cohort! This conversation focuses on the topic of Indian and Multiethnic Church Planting with Ajay Thomas from Advance Initiative.

Join us for our second public Zoom session with the Next Gen Cohort! This conversation covers the topic of Global Worship with guest speaker Pastor Sergio Villanueva from Iglesia del Pueblo in Chicago, IL.

Next Gen Leader Lunch - Raising up the Next Generation in ATX
All churches in Austin, immigrant and non-immigrant, wrestle with how to pass on the faith to the next generation. This roundtable will be an opportunity to build cross-cultural relationships with pastors and leaders from the nations and with non-immigrant churches and ministries from around the city. We will hear from Pastor Sam Teka, the newly ordained second generation Ethiopian pastor at Ethiopian Evangelical Christian Church, and his work with churches on how to best reach and equip the next generation. A free, immigrant-made lunch will be provided and an optional donation opportunity presented.

2024 Diaspora National Conference
Join this vibrant gathering September 13-14, 2024 in Phoenix, AZ, to experience the powerful gifts of the diaspora Church in Phoenix and around the country! The conference begins Friday night with “The Nations Festival & Worship Night,” a time of music and prayer open to the public that gathers immigrant churches from throughout the city of Phoenix. The conference continues on Saturday with 3 tracks and more in-depth facilitated discussions around raising up the next generation within the immigrant church and how to partner with the nations here.

Open House
Did you know that Austin is home to over 300 immigrant churches from all over the world? Come learn about the ministry of the Diaspora Network and how God is bringing the gifts and the renewing passion of the Global Church here to Austin. Author Tish Harrison Warren will share some from an opinion piece she wrote in the New York Times entitled The Global Transformation of Christianity is Here which references our work. Pastor John Monger, pastor of a Nepali and Bhutanese refugee church in Austin will share a testimony of his imprisonment in Bhutan for refusing to deny Christ. There will be a brief program from 6-6:30pm which will include an opportunity to consider financial investment and involvement in the work of God among immigrant and diaspora communities here.
